    2015 Nissan Altima - Kevin K

After some great years of competing with the Santa Fe, I plan to retire it from competition.
The Fe is still running good and sounding good but I have a new (well new to us) platform to work with now as my wife really needed something newer to drive as her van had seen it's better days.

The Altima will be my wife's daily driver but I plan to compete with it.

Dangit! Yours was one of the few vehicles I didn't have trouble getting in and out of

Congrats on the new ride, I can't wait to see what you have in store.

The plan is to keep as much of a factory like appearance and to keep as much usable space as possible.

The electrical is ran thru a grommet on the fire wall, the outer door sleeve is treated with Memphis mojo mat and R&D Acoustics infinity blocks

The inner sleeve is home to Dayton RS180 on a treated mdf baffle sealed with duct seal and door is treated with more mojo mat, headliner material.

The factory dash location is home to Dayton RS75 mid and ND20 tweeter.

The mid and tweeter combination was studied a great deal and is in testing at the moment, so far so good.
The front stage is ran off a JL Audio XD400/4 and sub stage is handled by a JL Audio XD600/1. The sub is JL Audio 12W3v3.

I will update more on the sub and amp area later once more work is completed.Click image for larger version.

Sorry Al, I like the Santa Fe, whenever I get to get something different to drive, I plan to look at a newer one as it's been a good dependable vehicle. The Altima sits much lower and takes some getting use to getting in and out of it. Hopefully you'll like the sound, but getting in and out, you probably will not like.
