Maybe NASA is part of the problem. How environmentally friendly is a shuttle launch? Has removing water from the planet played a part?
NASA and NOAA are government entities like so many others, and are subject to the same bureaucracy

Let's get back to arguing which talking head shitbird is going to drive our country into the ground.
Never bothered doing the numbers, but it would be hard to call that environmentally friendly on its face. But that would discount all the research that program was able to accomplish and the knowledge gained from all those experiments.
Removing water? I doubt enough has been lost to make any difference.
