Timer on pool pump, may go dual speed next season. Swapped a TON of lighting to LED. Swapped out the last AC unit for a more efficient one.

LOL...Call it the way you want, it is just winter, nothing to see here
Feb 18, 2015; 3:07 PM ET Niagara Falls has become the latest victim of winter’s unrelenting barrage of arctic temperatures and snow. Makes you wonder just how cold and the length of time it was that cold!!

Thursday and Friday’s polar outbreak could set all-time February low records from Tennessee to Virginia. Get ready for an even more impressive surge of arctic air later this week as another cold front drops south from Canada.
It's -14 here, and this is normal for February. Last year we saw temps in the -30s, wind chills in the -70s. Welcome to WI, where it is too cold to be sober.

Temperatures in much of the country have dipped 15° to 35°F (8 to 19°C) below average as ablast of Arctic air from the polar vortex—which normally circles the North Pole—has drifted southward over the eastern two-thirds of the United States. Cold temperatures this week reached south all the way into the Florida Panhandle.

Yeah, last year was just brutal all around.. We had a tornado in November, in 12 hours it was below freezing, a week later we had a hella snow and then it did not stop till April. The electric bill is just finally coming around.
It's -1 now with a windchill of -1. I can take that, except I gotta be outdoors tomorrow... Fuuuuk.
The coming stuff is -
Bitter cold will continue for the East as an ice event begins setting up across the Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys
[ Bitter cold temperatures will continue across much of the eastern U.S. as the latest surge of Arctic air brings the coldest temperatures since the mid-1990s. As this airmass continues to settle in, moisture-return from the Gulf of Mexico will set the stage for an ice event across portions of the Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys into the early weekend. ]
chad, tomorrow might be the perfect day to go skinny dipping if you are a member of a Polar Bear club, otherwise . . .

Another blast of Arctic air will follow the storm system, with well-below freezing temperatures in store on Monday for millions of peoplealong the East Coast.
The icy conditions had caused scores of traffic accidents across at least a dozen states.
Nearly a week of cold and ice has contributed to 18 weather-related fatalities in Tennessee since Monday, according to the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. They include 9 people who died of hypothermia and five victims of motor-vehicle accidents.
In Kentucky, 10 people have died since Monday in weather-related incidents, said Buddy Rogers, a spokesman for Kentucky Emergency Management.

The next two nights are going to be critical for local citrus growers. The farther north the grove, the more cold protection they're going to need.
