    SQOLOGY Aggieland Questions

I have been looking at attending a SQ event this year as a visitor and feel this one might be the ticket. However, I have no idea what to expect, as I haven't been to such a show before. I was planning to fly in/out of Houston, so I can catch a few Astros games too. I had a few questions I was hoping someone who's attended the show before can answer.

Is there a recommended day to attend (sat or sun)?
How many guests attend in a day?
    Whats parking like for visitors?
Should I consider spending the night in College Station?
What is the drive like from Houston to College Station?
Can a pasty zamboni driver from Canada survive the weather at that time?

Honestly, any tips or potential pitfalls would be welcomed. This is just an initial feeler, but it seems like a doable trip. Baseball and SQ competitions = Happy blockrocker!

You will get more from Aggieland then you would have from SVR in my opinion. SVR is a great show but there is something about the cars and the atmosphere of Aggieland that makes if different then all the rest. Maybe its the amount of money on the line, the level of cars that compete or the way its staged but its just better IMO.
I'm sad I cant make it this year but will try to get back out to Texas for 2021.

I might have missed it but when is Aggieland? And can someone get with me and see which org my truck would fit best? Already thinking my rig doesn't have the berries to hit the spl MECA is said to do now but never know. Erin, since you've aired mine out a bit what do you think? And what kind of cookies and/or pie do I need to leave on the dash right before the judge gets in? (Just kidding on that last one...maybe).
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

I'll be the short hillbilly with short legs and likely wearing a shirt that has to do with fishing.

I will keep my eyes peeled. I'll be wearing my CAJ shirt and probably looking a little out of place. Lol.
