2022 NCSQ Meet 13-15 May Near Greensboro NC

Just cross posting this from other places on the internet for those who don't venture out.
Afghan Vet (bertholomey) is the originator

Time to start a thread for the next NCSQ Meet! I'm ready to see some folks and listen to some great cars!

Standard spiel for those who have attended before:

    Friday Night Info:

At my house......pizza (bring some cash to chip in) - PM (Afghan Vet) me for the address. Really any time that day, and we will stop things at 10 PM.

    Saturday Info:

At my house - likely going to grill again From about 09:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We will eventually put a little sign up thing for those who would like to contribute cookies, chips, etc.

    Sunday Info:

Well, that is in the works - we would like to have another competition in Garner, NC (outside of Raleigh) that guys who typically compete can get some points, and those new to competition can get some valuable feedback based on a scoresheet. I'll update this when we get an answer back.

    Stuff to bring:

    Yourself
A friend / spouse / kids (of course you are responsible for policing said kids)
Your vehicle with or without anything setup/tuned
Favorite music on discs, thumb drive, or other device
    Camera
Lawn chair if you want to use one
Openness to learn, ask questions, take constructive criticism and humbly give advice/criticism

We would love to see some of the 'old dogs' here.....there are several 'locals' that haven't made it out......if you know these folks - send them a text, etc. Even if life has changed, and they are no longer in 'the scene', if they want to hang out and hear some good cars, we would love to have them.

Also, would love to have some new folks - those you may have sent messages to on DIYMA - if they are in the area or even if they aren't - send them a link.

And, the standard CoV message.....if you feel this is too risky, then you can sit this one out and hope for something to change in the future. Otherwise, take whatever precautions you feel are needed.

What a great couple days, despite 5 of it's driving through some awful rain on the way down Friday, it cleared up by the time we got to Jason's. There were already a good number of people there for a Friday, Saturday started off raining, but that also cleared out but around 10am. Got to listen to a bunch, missed listening to a bunch, really enjoyed catching up with and making new friends, overall, an excellent time and thank you to Jason, Vicki and his neighbors!

More cars showed up after I took this video...

What a great turn out. So many cars and great people. I had a blast. This was my first get together and it was way better than attending a competion. Al, I missed seeing and hearing your truck. It was the one I most wanted to see and hear. Hope I'll see you again at SVR. I tried to check out everybody's car but there just wasn't enough time.

I've made a bunch of changes and don't have it dialed in just yet, so you didn't miss much with my truck...but it will jam at SVR. I wanted to hear yours again after Mike tweaked it, but never got a chance

Mike did a fantastic job. I am very happy with the sound now. Most people think I have Apicella's tune because he did the install. Nick gave me a fantastic tune and I love the tune he gave me. But, thats not how I roll. I go to a competion or a GTG with my own tune so I can improve and show off my own abilities. What Mike did for me was simply incredible. He didn't just get in my car and make it better. He showed my what was wrong, explained how to fix it, then made me punch it in on the laptop. He is a great teacher and one Hell of a person.

Will you guys post up your Spotify Playlists of demo tracks or just a few of your favorites to demo with. I heard so much good stuff this weekend but can't remember them all.

If y'all post tracks I'll make the playlist.

I'm hoping to try and make it to SVR this year, not certain yet though, despite being in WV, it's actually further from me than the NC meet. Fingers crossed though.

I really liked your approach here, yes, it's a pro install, yes you have that guy also set a tune, but taking the time to learn how to tune and do it yourself with that equipment and install is really cool.
