Table saw / router combo - in a mobile cart

I have a one car garage and efficient use of space is paramount for me...

Sooooo, I am trying to plan and design a cart that holds the router and table saw, with a built in shop vac to collect dust.

It HAS to have an aluminum or stainless steel top and I'd like the whole top (router and saw sides both) to be perfectly flush and level.

Probably going to use birch plywood to frame it, because it has a lot of strength in a narrow profile (compared to framing it with 2x4s). No MDF of any kind anywhere, and no drywall screws!!!

It will need some pretty big, sturdy wheels to be able to roll it in and out of the garage a lot.

    Here is my tiny garage.
Behind the Jeep there is about 4 feet of depth from the bumper to the wall.

And this is the area it needs to fit and function it:

I decided on this saw, Dewalt DWE7480

    Here is the wheel/frame thingy:

Framing it up and getting the heights just right

I was going to go with a basic router plate, and then I saw this thing and fell in love!

My idea was to make the fence on the table saw function as a fence and dust collector for the router side, too...

Now to get the shop vac to fit under there...

    More progress

After framing it in 3/4" Baltic birch, I am wrapping it again in the 1/2" to make it strong, rigid and pretty:

Decided to paint it all matt black. Many cans later...

Added the stainless steel to the top

    Power strip and YELLOW loom!!!

The theme is obviously black and yellow

Even painted the router black (from the Bosch blue)

Started working on the dust collection... Used an automotive silicone coupler for the neck and hose attachment

I couldn't have said it any better!

I just stumbled onto this now, but that is an incredible cart and an absolutely beautiful build. DavidRam - seriously dude, your craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing. Just a very talented individual. I have that same table saw, but now feel great shame for how I store and use it. Lol.
