    WOW! You should do a build log just for that amp rack...

    Seriously, where did you put the lights, and did you run the wire through the metal tubes? Are they polished aluminum? Or is it just the cover plate?

    Well, I built it just for fun, so I never intended for it to be fully functional... The tubes were aluminum and I bent them to shape and polished them to a mirror finish. The cables would have been run through them had it been functional, yes. Btw, that is the cover to a Arc Audio xdi 1200.6 that I had lying around.

    I guess that makes sense now, and I started to see that a bit after I posted. But still, it's really creative and I dig it. The box is no slouch, either ;-)

    Wow, that looks absolutely fantastic!!! You've clearly got great talent and passion for superlative design and fabrication. Looking forward to your impressions when you've had a chance to properly hear it.

    Thank you very much, guys!! I really enjoyed building it... I agonized over every little detail, but in the end I really like it.

    I am moving on to my next "just for fun" project now!!
