Hello!

My name is Chris and after a long hiatus from car audio, I recently purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie Crew Cab and the car audio bug has bitten me once again!

I was referred over here from DIYMobileAudio because there may be a few who post here located in the Phoenix Valley.

I've acquired all my items to start my install and I'll be looking for some help tuning once done.

Anyways, great to be here and looking forward to learning, contributing, and having fun with this hobby!

Welcome! In the event sub forum there is a Phoenix meetup thread. We are trying to meet up the third Saturday of the month at the cars and coffee car show in Chandler.

Next one should be November 16 @ 8:30am. I know Justin Zazzi, myself, and most likely Doug Dobson will be there. After Justin and I will at least go and get some food.

We love to meet up with more people and nerd out over audio. Last time Justin and I got into a great phase talk and then we went to Rockford Fosgate where he works. He showed me all about phase with one of the tools he uses there and gave me a really cool tour of the place!

Awesome! Yeah, that's right. They're headquartered here in Tempe, which is also where I work. Interesting you mention "phase" because recently I was trying to figure out why so many of my stock speakers were out of phase in the truck. Turns out they're part of the ANC system and they emit sound out of phase to cancel out the drone of the exhaust, engine, and road noise. Yes, I unhooked the 4 mics as soon as I swapped out the stock speakers. LOL!

Looking forward to nerding out with you guys...though I am not probably as scientifically orientated as you guys. I am fast learner though (took H.S. physics and looots of math. LOL!
