Yes, scroll down on sub and you will see `optimum` using "Bass Box 6" , for a vented/ported box. The subsonic filter is used {mechanical/electronic} so when sub unloads beneath tuned frequency, the sub doesn`t destroy itself.

I cant seem to find the Thiele-Small parameters anywhere for the driver displacement for Kenwood KFC-W3016PS

If you set the highpass to 22-25 Hz it will only allow frequencies higher than that to go to sub. Many guys use a lowpass filter for their sub set to somewhere between 100-80 Hz, so the sub will only play notes below that frequency. Go here to look up subsonic filter http://www.bcae1.com/
