    2004 Civic SI

More boring stuff... I didn't take the pics I should have, but these give you a decent idea of things.

I would've done it very different if I had more say in the build Chad. I wanted him to go with one 15 or 18 with the "2k" watts the MB quart amp is said to have... It would've done what he wanted and then some. Unfortunately the guy bought everything and said can you make this work? Just after I started, he asked if I could keep it functional but showy-ish. Not shown is the false floor panel that makes it just look like a plain black carpet floor. Semi stealth... There is a spare battery in the front of the center enclosure too. All enclosures are internally joined to one another when the vehicle, the airspace is shared by way of 3 inch PVC couplers that also help with joining the enclosures. The best part of the car is what I did to the doors. I used 1/8 in 6061 aluminum and formed them to fill the openings in the inner door skins, they were bead rolled for extra strength. The end result was one of the most rigid doors I've ever done with minimal material. I'll contact him to see if I can get some photos. Unfortunately, he bought some fake Focal access components and it never sounded get good.

It was pretty loud... one of those systems that didn't "sound" very loud but would leave you in physical pain afterward. He had me add about 140 sq ft of deadner to it, which seemed to really allow the pressure in the cabin to build more than I had anticipated. Venting a window when it was near full tilt was just silly... Not my kind of build, but he was happy.
