    Glenn's Wife's 2014 Avalon build

Got started on my wife's 2014 Avalon today. Here is an equipment list:

    Stock HU
    PPI DSP-88R
    Alpine PDX-F6
    Alpine PDX-F4
    Ground Zero GZUC 650SQ set
    Sundown SD-12 10'' sub

Amps will be going on the bottom side of the rear deck, plenty of space. Sub will be tucked into the driver side portion of the trunk behind the wheel well in a fiberglass enclosure. Everything else will be pretty standard and simple.

Here are some pics from today:

Area taped off with 2 layers of 3M painter's tape.

Then I go over that with foil held in place with spray glue. I then put a layer of car wax on the foil as a release agent.

Here are between 4 and 5 layers on the backside of the enclosure.

That's it for today, ran out of FG matt!

Very cool sir! Especially for those of us who have never tried fiberglass, but are definitely interested in learning.
    Are you not entertained?!?!

I'm hoping to make any of my further projects into tutorials of sorts. Hope they help!

I blame you 100% for making me want to make custom FG tweeter pods in my cav's A-pillars.

Waiting to see how Glenn manages to fit a tantric 24" in the trunk and make it look stock.

Will it be covered in Coach material?

Tuned in for this, your craftsmanship is always fun to watch. Good car for a build as well, if Toyota's standards have held up. Used to be the quietest car on the road.

This Avalon is very quiet, I am impressed overall. It hauls ass too, has around 280 HP I believe.
