    2001 'Greyhound' Suburban

Hey, all. In an attempt to broaden my horizons a little bit, I've decided to start frequenting a few more forums; you guys made the list!

Anyway, my name's Tristan, I'm a regular over at MAF. I came by to say hi and show off some of my plans for my new (to me) truck, as well as get to know you guys (and gals, I know they lurk) a little better.

Without further ado, here are some pictures of the truck.

These are bone-stock pictures of the vehicle, and the work's only begun. Stay tuned, though; I've got big plans for her.

The speakers, for now, are going to be Incriminator's i65Cs all the way around, ran on a Kenwood XR-4S. I'm in hopes that they'll keep up with the subs of my choosing; if it becomes a problem, I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

    Out with the old...

    In with the new.

Well, good thing I didn't plan on using those.

Now, time for some custom work.

I got a decent fit, but wanted to get something between the plastics to prevent any unwanted noise. To avoid ridicule, I'll never tell you guys where the carpet is from.

And a little foam for the mids.

Mounted, and ready to play as soon as the head unit goes in.

    nice canvas, i agree.

i'm always disappointed when i mount speakers in those doors - the tweeters are too low and i'm never happy screwing speakers to a plastic door panel. fine for now, but do yourself a favor and build proper door pods and raise those tweeters up a bit before you call it "done".

    welcome to CAJ.

I've always wanted at Tahoe or Suburban. Such a great canvas, but I have no need for anything that big.
