And while I was planing on having my Pioneer FH-P5000MP reconditioned and ready to install it's taking longer than I would like so I caved and bought a new DD sony WX-GT90BT that should be here next monday. I purchased a MEX-N4000BT for my girlfriends car and was rather impressed with the build, feature set, and over all feel and though "fuck it" when I saw one NIB for $89.

I think you have a great choice there with the Sony. Looks to be a solid head unit for sure.
    Are you not entertained?!?!

Yeah it seems to have more than enough features for a simple install like this.

I was THIS close to pulling the trigger on one of them for my wife's surprise build. Then I decided to get creative and go 4 way active...I'm a dope who's a glutton for punishment apparently.

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this one. I'll live vicariously through you with the sweet REF amp.

I thought having a big knob was a "good" problem to have...?

Nick I'm glad you're moving forward with this! I dig the HU. (undercover Sony fan) Are you needing anything else?
