What are the Advantages of the material inside the box?

Polyfil slows down the air by absorbing the vibrational energy and converting it to heat. 1.5 pounds per cubic foot can make the sub believe it's in a 30% larger enclosure according to all the studies I have read.

just get it at wallyworld, it is with the craft stuff and much cheaper

A set of speakers and a sub with a 4-channel amp is a very good starting point.

front 2-channels to speakers , rear 2-channels to sub.
