2014 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T vs Audi A4

Greetings,

I am looking on trading in my Audi this week for a new Hyundai Sonata Turbo. I was wondering how many of you have worked on this car and what is the issues that I need to be aware of?

I am most likely going to go with a modest 5 channel 2 way setup, if any at all.

I had a 2003 sonata and can tell you it was pretty easy to work on. Pretty much a 10mm and a phillips screw driver will disassemble most of the vehicle. Not sure how the vehicle has changed over the years.

Have you looked at the optima turbo? To me, it seems like a much nicer looking car. Good luck either way.

Not much in the way of audio advice but I can tell you this... We had one for a short time, before I was even able to change the oil for the first time my wife and son were involved in a nasty accident. It blew the sunroof out, there was not a single body panel that was straight, much of the front end was torn off.

They walked away, with minor bumps. The cabin stayed in tact for the most part and the quantity of airbags that deployed was rather impressive. Although we did not purchase another after the accident I still owe it gratitude for us having a healthy family.
