    Re: BMW E60 520d 2009 Budget SQ

Hi Guys, I have more doubts with regards the selection of a suitable replacement for my current Sub (ORION XTR12, 4ohm) and i have some candidates, my budget is up to about 300£ and looking for SQ ~SQL.
My current setup, have some limitations:

Subwoofer is of low power handling (250W) compared to my Helix sub amp (600WRMS@2ohm) So I would like to make the most of this
It doesnt go as loud as I would like it.
Bass is ok but not great.

    Some requirements are:
Should be fit for a sealed box.
    Can be 3x10" 2x12" or 1x15"
Should (idealy) have an impedance of 2ohm.

    My Current options are:

    2x Eminence LAB12C

    1x Fi SSD15

    1x B2 REF12
    http://www.bladeice.com/product/b2-a...f12-subwoofer/

I am looking at other options such as:
    1xHertz HX 300 D.5
    1xPhoenix Gold Ti212D4
    1xMorel Ultimo SC 12
    1xRE Audio SXX12 D4
    2xAlpine SWR-12D2

I would highly thank your expert opinions. Not too concern of which of those combos will sound louder as I have simulated all of them in optimal sealed enclosures (QTC=0.65, which is what I am aiming for) and all are more or less around the same SPL and considerably above my current setup. So its pretty much a matter of SQ and looks!

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards.

So I would like to make the most of this
    http://www.carsound.co.uk/subwoofers/twelve-subwoofers/hertz-hi-energy-hx300d-4-4-ohm-dvc-subwoofer-30cm-12-1200w

    HX300D Subwoofer

wire it in parallel for a 2 ohm load.

About a cube and a half for enclosure. A lil less will be fine.

Hi all I havent post for a while, been busy with job and other duties. Here is the update: Ive decided on the subwoofer to use and opted to have 2x 12" Focal P30F They look really amazing and hopefully they will sound as good as they look, there is little reviews on this sub, but somehow I decided to be daring and I kind of trust the quality from Focal.

They will go on a 2x 40L sealed sub box with some damping inside. Anyway, picture time!!
