So, after two hours of removing ALL of the original install we end up with this.
Fancy new Rockford 0ga fuse holder that the insurance company sent me.
The previous shop was nice enough to install a dual alt set up for me
Too bad they forgot to hook it up to anything but itself to turn on.
So, I went ahead and did it for them. Used some 0ga to run to the factory fused side of the battery terminal.
Along with a solid 0ga ground to the alt chassis.
And they all meet nicely at the battery

The power wire was ran under the car and follows the rear heat/ac routing.
And enters under the passenger second row seat. You can also see the ground lug too.
Drivers side front speaker wire run.
Passenger side front speaker run
Signal starts with a PAC OEM-1
Signal cables run down the center of the vehicle.
I would have been rather upset to see the crap that the first "shop" did if that were my vehicle. Amazing what some people charge for these days. I hope you get everything buttoned up over the next few days and we get to see it this weekend.
Hey, speaker wire is esspensive...Waste not, want not. Tapping 6 short pieces together is just as good as one single piece...right....?
The PAC OEM-1 will not work with a "premium Bose" amplified system. I didn't even know a "premium Bose" system existed. So, now I'm back to square one on volume control before the "premium Bose" amp. 😞
But we did get pretty far along on the amp rack today.
This is the idea for the amps. This is between the 2 row seats.
Couple of sides to get started.
What the amps will be mounted to.
Different angle.
Starting on the top piece.
The front and top.
The amps will stick out of the holes just barely
Slightly different angle.
All the edges will be have routed 45's and will look much more contoured when finished.
That's where I left it for the day.

So they charged for and installed a second alt but didn't wire it up so it actually did anything!?? :wtf2:
Nice work cleaning things up
