Ok I have to ask, is there a benefit to the octagon port? I remember from way back when that it was preferred to have very smooth, flared ports that w were supposed to help sq. Has there been a new development?
About the same time slot ports were becoming fashionable. I'm done making myself look old now.

From the mouth of the builder: "More efficient than slot with less area needed and less displacement..........I haven't done any comparison testing but all of the octoport boxes I have built locally seem to perform very well and get stupid loud.....You can ask a few of the out of state customers that have owned octo and slot ported enclosures for their opinions....."
