    Balance

When I set my balance to the rear of the car only my front speakers play.
When I set my balance to the front or middle of my car all my speakers play including the rear.
    Any thoughts?

    Re: Balance

    What info would help?

2 posts because multiple times I've posted in one area that I thought was correct and got zero responses, then I posted in a different area and my post got many replies. So in the interest of getting the best and most feedback I post wherever I think the thread is applicable.

    Re: Balance

Well, what is powering the speakers? What kind of headunit? It almost sounds like the front speakers are on a non-fading output and the rear speakers are hooked to the front output.

    Re: Balance

I guess the factory headunit is the source. Without actually seeing any part of it, the first thing I’d look at is the Sum/Separate switches on the amplifier to make sure they are set properly.

    Re: Balance

When you fade it to rear, does only the front play? If so, I'd say you just have it wired backwards

    Re: Balance

The shop that did the installation caused the issues. Even I'm not dumb enough to do that lol

Yes the front plays when faded to the rear.

    Re: Balance

If a shop did this, take it back and have them fix it. Seems simple.

I don't trust the shop anymore. Definitely not taking my car back to them.
