    IASCA SQC

My build is progressing and I'm thinking about going to SVR if I can finish up. I haven't competed myself since SBN in 2004 and the rules are very different.
    If I'm only doing SQC:
    1. Do I need a photo log to show all mounting and terminations?
    2. Do I do a presentation of the system for the SQ judge.
    3. From reading the rules It seems I have to at least show the fuse locations and equipment near drivers seat?
    4. Are there any difference in MECA judging procedure?

    Any insight is appreciated!
    Bill

You just have to display basic safety features, such as fuses, proper mounting, etc. Documentation is only needed if being judged for install (separate criteria than SQ), or if fuses are hidden from sight.
Certain classes of Emma requires documentation and presentation, such as Master class and higher.

iasca and meca have dedicated install classes. in the sqc and sql classes (respectively), both have basic safety requirements like al hinted above.

emma has an install requirement that increases in requirements (and available points) the higher up in classes you go. feels a bit more old-school that way. no rta or spl though

Thanks for the info. Just care about SQ side so I don't want to invest time into showing install, I'm pretty sure the safety and integrity aspects ate covered.
I decided to go to SVR and might do multiple its too get more feedback.

Thanks, I'm sure I will! I know I'll see people i haven't seen in years. I haven't been to a show as just a competitor since 1992. After that started building other people cars I was either tuning or judging untilI left in 2005. I look forward to being able to doing what i feel like. How to see you there

I definitely will. Is going to be nice being at a store and getting to hang out and listen to cars without wiring not worrying about what customer is being judged next. My daughters will probably want to demo some cars too.

I own 3 Mitsubishi's so I don't think I'm allowed to sit in a Subaru? Are your windows tinted at least?
