Thread: Lithium battery vs AGM

    Re: Lithium battery vs AGM

I use lithium in a slightly different way, I have a big agm up front that I’ve not seen fit to swap out yet… and the a dc-dc converter that takes any voltage from 9v upto 15v and converts it to 15.4v and approx 70a, this then feeds a 35ah yinlong lto cell setup, 6 cells and a balancer, this then feeds the distribution block and out to the amps

the dc-dc converter is from a guy I know in the U.K., he also does a larger 100a unit but 60a is plenty enough for me as I’ve never seen even 0.1v drop on the biggest bass hits! It’s awesome how solid the voltage is… this is due to the lto and it’s discharge curves, I don’t think I’d ever consider a car setup without lto and a balancer now My front battery voltage gets dropped to battery voltage at times, but I only care about the audio side of things, the car can have up and down voltage for me and like it
