    Troubles with my amp

So I recently wired my amp and when I went to turn my car on, the amp did not turn on. I checked all the wires and they seem fine and I tested the amp and I have 12.2V for the power wire, I do have ground but I am getting 0.8V for the remote control. I tried doing a jump line to test to see if the amp will work but the amp still did not turn on. The fuse is in good condition as well.

Any ideas on why this is giving me problems and if you know any solutions please let me know

    Re: Troubles with my amp

If it didn't turn on when you jumped 12v to the remote terminal on the amp that means you have a bad amp. Your options are to either get it repaired or replaced.

Are you really only getting .8v from the turn-on wire coming from the switched source (headunit or other switched acc)?
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.
