Unless you're a masochist like me, whatever you do, DO NOT buy a 6th gen Camaro. Awesome car, HORRIBLE audio platform.

Interfacing with factory wiring looks a bit of a challenge as it’s not ISO or quad locks.

there's quite a few builds out there w/ decent pics/docs about integration. might behoove someone to also run a coax and toslink cable to the center console while it's apart

the bigger challenge has been safely powering the audio system in a model 3. they've figured that out as well.

I’ve been doing some research on Model 3s. I love the style and interior but I don’t like that you can’t replace the radio. I get what it is and what it does but I REALLY love my Excelon DMX-1057. A guy I work with has a white 3 with white interior and it’s a SWEET car. That’s one of the select few that I’d stretch my budget for. I’ve been perusing the build threads here and on DIYMA to get some ideas. The Mazda 6 also looks interesting with the ability of using big woofers in the doors.

I can’t replace my factory radio either. With the Helix Ultra I now have the factory radio sounding very similar to straight optical and coaxial direct to DSP. With the proper DSP you can get very close to excellence.

So you bypassed your factory amplifier?
Do you still have your chimes and navigation speech and whatnot?

    Mazda? Which ones?
Measure with mics, mark with chalk, cut with torch, grind to fit, sand to finish, paint to match.
Updated Justin tuning sheet (Justin and Erica tuning companion for SMAART and REW)
    Do it for them.
