qualities i'd want:
- factory 3-4" dash mounted midrange
- factory or easily add 1" tweeter in sails
- 8" or 6x9" in the doors

so a couple come to mind that i've been in and know can sound good: early/mid 2010s camry? 2nd gen cts (cts-v)?

Well, Not that it's practical, but 2/3 of these are in a Miata.

8 inch door woofer.

Mids, not so great, but the space will fit a 3.5 inch. Some creative fitting (no sail panels in this car) and there can be tweeters

Sorry but anyone who’s said door mounted midbass aren’t of sane mind vs a kick panel or underseat or bulkhead mounted for me if picking a car specifically for audio, I’ve only ever measured one car which had good phase in the door mounted midbass and it was very compact and very custom, it was a freak
