Please someone, talk me out of a JL 13 W7AE

I have a 12W7 in a big ported box tuned low. The only thing I don't like about it is the output. I wish it could take more wattage. It hits hard, plays low and has great SQ as long as you don't overdrive it. I try not to give it more than 900 watts or so. I haven't heard the 13W7, but it is rated at higher wattage and probably plays a bit lower.

They are overpriced. I think they should sell for no more than $750 new. I think you will like it, but regret paying so much for it. I believe you would probably get more enjoyment per $ from trying out a few different, lower priced, recommendations.

I like all of my stereo integrity speakers and subs. Great value for the price. You've heard it all.

I hope that JL 13 W7AE is on order! Buy the last subwoofer first! You can order something else but eventually will re-order the JL 13 W7AE lol

I recently purchased the new Alpine 12 inch type r Halo in Alpines ported box. It’s absolutely amazing. It just does everything really well. It’s also pretty efficient and gets loud. I would argue it’s a better cost vs performance ratio then the JL. I have it powered by the JL VXI 1k @ 2 ohms.
