    Distribution block with 2 fuses?

Hey I'm new here first post. i Have a Mesa Distribution block that is 1/0 in & 1/0 out and it has 2 150 amp ANL fuses. I am wondering why there is 2 fuses and not just one? I've searched everywhere and can't find an example of one anywhere. The main question I have is what is the rating of the block? 150 or 300? would it be just as good to just use one fuse? ie: 1 x 300 amp fuse VS 2 x 150's. Sounds like a noob question I know, I just have never seen these before.

It can be used with one or two fuses. Just add the two fuses together for an amp rating. IE: 2-150 amp fuses = 300 amp max current. Or just a single 150 amp fuse will give you just that. It simply allows for flexibility in matching fuses. Two 80 amps for 160 instead of be forced to use a 150 etc. I hope this helps.

Edit: I should mention that you'll only want to use matching fuses with that. Not a 100 and a 50 for 150. That won't work, a the smaller fuse will overload.
