    Hello All

Hello all. Just checking in after doing some lurking looking for info regarding tuning a DSP I just installed. I'm new to DSP so have a lot of reading ahead of me. Looks like a very informative forum here and I look forward to what will probably be hours of reading. Might as well put in what brought me here. Installing the below gear into a 2006 BMW X5 4.8is (all original OE DSP removed).

    - 10" Android 8 core head unit
    - BavSound (I think they were made by Memphis for BSW?) 3 way fronts - 2 door woofers, 2 upper door tweeters, 2 dash mids
    - BavSound 2 way rears - 2 door woofers, 2 upper door mids
    - (x2) JL Audio 500/5 slash v1
    - JL Audio 1000/1 slash v1
    - 12" Ascendant Audio Havoc
    - Audio Control DM-810 DSP

Install has begun and DSP rack and power wiring/fusing is in. Will post a build log as it progresses further but as time is always in short supply, it will probably be awhile. Any suggestions/tips/tricks welcome.

    Re: Hello All

Thank you both. I'm sure I've got tons of reading ahead of me. I've installed many an audio system, but they were "simple" one or two amp setups with passive Xovers and no DSP. This will be a learning experience for sure with plenty of ups and downs. As long as it ends on an up... I'll be a happy camper.

Edited the first post to add the AA Havoc 12" sub.

Thank you Al. Much appreciated, but I am going to have to make a request. That avatar... needs to be changed. I'll never be able to get any work done if I "randomly" run across it in a thread. By the way, the forum's smiley selection is on point. My compliments.

Here's some pics of the gear for no other reason than I have some already uploaded.
