Re: So what would you do from a buyers perspective?

Looks to me like the second shipment was for an unordered item as they said above keep the paperwork that shows the original transaction had been completed

Finally get to update this, procurement & install planning phase has had some execution happen, procurement is for minor items now. Have Morel MT350 Tweeters & Hybrid MW6 Woofers, AudioControl DM-6.1200 & just added LC.1-800, KnuKoncepts Wiring and distribution, Audiofrog GS12D2 refurb, starting with inexpensive subwoofer enclosure to get everything up and running and let funds replenish some...Funds have replenished and now I am questioning my early DSP/Amp approach decision...

First mistake was to buy from a he/she. Never buy from someone who hasn't even decided on their gender yet.

I hope this gets worked out in your favor.

You might even think of sending a final message to the seller stating that you will hold the item for x amount of time (Like 14 business days or something) for them to have someone pick up the item to return it to them if they want it. After that time it will be disposed of properly.
    Interesting idea. Thanks

I’d say it’s yours now. You’ve done due diligence, now fix it and enjoy it, lol!

I can do this with some effort. However, my billing rate is $153/hr. I would lose money to fix these tweeters. But, maybe that is OK.if I could use them for something else but a car install...

How did they try to "fix" a tweeter?

It always amazes me how some of these forum owners and admins cower to people who claim they are going to sue for damages or libel. No attorney is going to take a case suing a public media platform over such petty squabbles. We had a user a few months ago claim that he was a secret shopper, and said he was going to give us a bad review. I explained to him that store owners hire secret shoppers to review their employees and services...secret shoppers don't just do it of their own volition. And since I know that I hadn't hired anybody to review my site, I knew he was full of shit. He also claimed that he was going to give us a poor Nielsen rating

You're probably going to lose your Michelin Star too. What a shame!
