Morel dome mid/tweeter combo.

I had a visit from a buddy today while I was working on my car and he was asking me about a reasonably priced dome mid and tweeter, the first thing that I thought of was the Morel TM4055-8 mid-tweet one piece...although I've never heard it. Does anyone here have experience with this driver set? It looks and specs like it might just do the trick:

It's a cool setup, but that mounting plate is 5.6" round and over 3" deep. That's going to limit installation options. Where is he thinking of mounting these? Madisound also sells a couple of different 2" Morel dome mid variants, it may be easier to mount separate mids/tweets in a car:
