    Re: Some Advice

would i get away with using the sock tweeter location for the U2 or L2SE firing up on to the screen or better to have them in the pillar on axis. i think am leaning onto getting the DSP.3 and the wideband but am looking the keep the tweeters in the build incase
i need them for the top end i could keep the DSP mini and go tweeter-less spend time in getting them right but i think it might be a better idea to have the DSP.3 and the tweeter to fall back on? with me being in NI there is not many i know that have gone tweeter-less

Best bet is to test and see. A lot of people have had success and a lot of people haven't. The people that I have seen that had success have put quite a bit of effort to test fitting different angles/heights.

    Re: Some Advice

i dont mind trying a few things but am not sure if i should get the U2 or the L2SE i dont want to be buying both and find out ect, or should i drop in the L3SE in the pillar on axis and try and fit the tweeter in as a back up, the other thing i was looking at was
the getting the alloy pods for the HAT but they need plenty of air space but if i get the L2SE they would fit in my builds now with a few adjustments and get a set of pods for the tweeters that might be something that would work out.

    What about the gs25?

As far as the U2 or L2SE, the latter is the better speaker but also 2.5x the price ($200 compared to $500). The L2 has quite a few better specs compared to the U2.

Skipton Car Radio are their UK distributors.

Seems trial and error is the best way forward unless you buy a couple of options and sell what doesn’t work.
