You can read about it in Apicella's Auto EQ Thread.

I think the Helix Software read the cal file from a UMIK-1 the wrong way.

Patrick Hegener doesnt explained it in detail what they fixed now.

    The Update is Live now
Cool, I will try this new version 4.72a and see how it compares to my original one. Maybe it will work better with SUB this time!!

I’m using A UMIK-1 and the new version and I still can’t get it to work. I can’t get the task bar to turn green even though it is Really loud.

Yea same problem here, was hoping it was something in the software they could fix. I have not yet tried this but plan to this weekend.
I also have a different MIC I may try to see if it makes any difference.

I had this problem when first installing the UMIK-1 on Windows 10.
It was pointed out to me through the chaps over on the REW forums that I probably have the volume of the mic too low.

Thought I'd already looked at it, but it seemed not.
If you don't know how to get there, right click windows bottom left, select system, then sound.
Once in sound, click sound control panel in top right.
Under recording, double click microphone and then levels.
I moved mine up to 100 and started from there, had to turn it down a bit in the end.

    Hope this helps
