Damn I wish I could make it to this kind of thing. Sounds pretty complicated to set up.

I'm wondering about the switching panels. Do you have those built already? I'd like to see some pics of how you are doing it. Maybe you explained it well enough, and I'm just too hung-over/dehydrated/overworked to grasp it. :/

Thanks, and good luck! Sounds like it's going to be a great time.

Re: AMplifer A/B Blind testing- Time to hear for myself!

Well in its current state, it's simply a panel with a bunch of banana jacks on it. The backs of the banana jacks have wires connected that go out to the L and R channel of each amp. The speakers are then connected via a pair of speaker wires with banana plugs into the FRONT of the banana jacks for whichever amp you want to listen to. The RCA panel simply has all of the L and all of the R rca jacks tied in together (soldered) to share the same signal between them. So essentially, all amps are receiving the signal at all times from the source and their outputs are all run to the banana jack panel and ready at all times. You just "select" which one plays by which set of jacks you plug your speaker wires into.

Now the way it WILL work soon enough, is that I have a pair of switchers coming that will enable me to simply push a button to select the amplifier that is playing as opposed to unplugging and plugging back in the banana plugs on a panel. Much easier and more accurate for demoing

    Steve,
That's an awesome looking setup you have there. I have been wondering for a while what your test setup would look like. keep up the good work buddy.

    Thanks Dustin!

Testing is great so far from my end. All amps (except the Zuki) appear to be working properly and the test rig is running smoothly. I'm going to troubleshoot the Zuki either tonight or tomorrow. Its flashing protect with nothing but power connected which is odd...

I have a few items coming in, including a Zed Leviathan amp and some fine cables from mr West to do some sidebar testing on. My only concern at this point is attendance. I know a lot of people are interested in the results, but I dont have many commits for the actual event...I find it a bit surprising since this is a somewhat rare opportunity to experience this yourself and also to see and demo some great amps all in one place.

Hopefully I'll get some more confirms. I certainly don't want to pony up the $250 I'll have to pay for a hotel meeting room to host this if noone is showing up...
