    Sound system cutting out randomly

Recently, I've noticed that my sound system has been cutting out a lot randomly. There isn't any particular pattern to it, simply that it will suddenly stop playing and start playing against in like ~45 seconds. I looked at my car this morning when my sound system did not start up at all, and I noticed that my Helix DSP was not powered on and consequently did not send a turn on signal to my amps. I am suspecting that there is some issue with the power system. When I pull the fuse powering the Helix DSP and wait about 5 seconds before reinserting the fuse, then the Helix + amps power on properly.

Is it possible that there is some sort of thermal issue causing this? It has been hotter than usual as of late, but I have been driving pretty short trips (<5-10 mins), and the problems are occuring within minutes of turning the car on. Any suggestion of what I should be looking at to troubleshoot this?
