    One of Scott's best.
    Legendary.
So many good ideas to use here.

Ya gotta think to yourself. Why wouldn't he have just use Hybrid Audio drivers

All kidding aside, this car was a game changer to me. Who the hell would cut holes in their sheet metal to mount speakers in the kick panels?

It really was radical. I totally remember when this issue came out.
Even to this day, I wish I could hear that and play with the joystick...
I imagine he had those door speakers crossed over pretty high - just can't imagine those kick woofers being able to do much bass, right?
I wish I knew those Xover points...

For a long time I thought this was the first vehicle to have motorized kick panels, but Greg Cobbs beat him to it.

No kidding? I thought Scott was the first.
There's no article or pics of his, are there?
I did a quick Google but only see (I think) more recent builds with his name.

I'll check those out, because I'm especially interested in IASCA veteran's more recent builds (proves what they've decided they can and can't live without, which can be really valuable info), but I'd love to see his version of that.

If I recall, Scott's was just a side mirror motor behind each - wouldn't be that hard to replicate!

Scott Buwalda Nissan with JL Audio components in the kick panels:

Scott's were nicer looking IMO, he just wasn't first.
