    Amplifier Problem?

I am running a pair of Dayton RS75-4 on an Eclipse 3520. The amp is old but still sounds good and shouldn't have any issues with the tiny Dayton drivers.
The problem comes at startup. The left mid doesn't work, the 8" midbass in the doors work (on a different amp). If I turn up the volume, the left mid starts working and everything sounds fine.

Have any of you ever seen an amp do this?
    Meh, it'll play.

Switches and pots are always the first thing to check if you're sure the problem follows the amp.

Pick up some deoxit and give the switches and pots a squirt and work them back and forth many times. You'll likely have to take the amp apart to do it effectively.

I didn't think of that. Haven't actually worked on an amp in 20 years. I plan to spend some time with it this weekend and open it up.

Just an update for any future readers. Took both of my old amps apart. Thorough cleaning of the pots, switches, and RCA jacks solved the issue. They sound good as new.
