wind chill -2 degrees F this morning here.
We're supposed to get some slick stuff down here in the south. People will panic as usual for no good reason. And if we do get slick roads there will be a whole slew of 4x4's in the ditch. Meanwhile my big 2wd truck with full posi rear and traction control is in dire need of new tires. Yup, it's gonna be an interesting winter for me.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.
I was unimpressed by drivers when the snow dropped south of The Mason-Dixon Line

It's better to be a live chicken than it is a dead duck. People in 4x4's running up beside people and spinning their tires in an attempt to swing their c**k deserve to be in the ditch. My dad taught me how to drive smooth and taught me the finer points of slick road driving in a neighborhood full of hills. His advice seemed to work nicely. Now when the valance on a front bumper is plowing snow causing you to lose your steering there isn't much you can do about that. Good thing we don't get much of that here.

Here, people go to 4WD thinking it gives them 8 wheel brakes. Usually takes one good snow.
they talking about some seriously cold weather coming in a few days. Might not even make it out of the forties for highs, that's some serious chill man.. like 47 for a high, looking at having to wrap some pipes maybe.
well, it's a small price to pay to live this far up the bayou, you take the good with the bad.
LOL like 47 for a high....
I don't put long pants on till it gets to a 32 degree average.
Put your long pants on, then bend over and kiss your A___ goodbye !

Not a goddamn flake, I haven't even put the plow on the quad yet.
