Advice on how to mount this dsp.....

The one thing I never noticed about the Zapco dsp-z8 IV ii when I was researching it was there are no mounting holes/ears. I'm still waiting for my box for my single 12, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be mounting my amp rack (abs plastic) to the back wall of my truck. If that's the case the DSP will need to be mounted vertically unless I build a little horizontal shelf for the dsp. Until the box gets here and I'm 100%, any suggestions?

For now the only thing I can think of is industrial velcro. It has worked great for amps in the fairing of my street glide, but not sure if I would trust it on a vertical install.

There has to be a way to mount with screws. I would wait for it to come or call Zapco or your dealer and inquire.

Looks like the top middle can be released by the 4 gold screws. Then there should be some holes to mount.

I will say that I checked the owner’s manual and it didn’t have any info about actually mounting it other than to pay attention to where the connections are made.

I see 2 holes on the right side. Ask them where's the pair of L-brackets and 4 screws

It's in the garage. I don't want to mess with it too much do to a question I have in to zapco about the scratches on it. I think it might have either been tampered with or it was from assembly.

Good call. I'll have to check before I go to bed. After I saw the scratches I took a couple quick pictures and put it back in the box.

Since I'm not gonna be using the bluetooth for streaming to it I'm thinking about returning it for a Mosconi or Helix (I need to find a dealer stateside first) dsp. It's gonna be in the back of my head that it was taken apart even if Zapco says it was from assembly

And after a little closer examination there are some L brackets in a bag with some small machined screws and coarse thread screws.......

Nothing like a small kick in the nuts before going to bed lol.
