    2” Full Range

Hey guys, I’m looking for a 2” full range as that’s what fits in my factory locations. Any recommendations? I have some L8SEs but I would love to find some L2SEs to match but I don’t think I’ll be finding any used anytime soon.

What’s the best thing out right now as far as full range / wide bands for 2”?

Audible Physics Ram 2 or HAT Unity 2" would be my choice. If you could step up to a 2.5" the Audiofrog gs25 might be a good option too.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

can you buy the 2A by itself?

    the video I watched had a 2 7/8” OD so I’d imagine a 3” OD would fit

Contact Tam the owner. He's a super nice guy to deal with.

Oddly I think I preferred the unity 2 over the l2se in our competition bmw, the L2se has a big hump at 16khz from memory which made tuning a pain in the arris before dealing with car induced lumps and bumps

I thought about doing the Unity 69s over the L8SEs but I found the L8se's cheaper than the U69s. Those haven't been ruled out though.

I heard a pair of Unity 2" playing tweeterless off axis in a Mercedes from Tennessee and they sounded really good. I think the guy was running AP Ram 6.5's for midbass. I do like a somewhat rolled off top end so some might not have liked them that way.

    How off-axis are we talking?

I think they were in sails. Been a while so don't remember for sure. I'm sure someone who's more familiar with the car I'm talking about can clarify.
