Less than a week. Not sure that's a good sign.

I was talking to a buddy who's a logistics coordinator for FEMA & he was telling me the numbers that they have are not the same numbers being fed to the public.

I’d imagine it’s to calm panic...

Yeah Rob, it's huge volatility! Swings depending which news.

Also yeah all the numbers reported can't be accurate.
Maybe the consolation this week is it's not free falling. Still have some positive days.
Today is down maybe because of the supply chain news (iphone) plus all the new virus/people news.
Costco will have a sales report this afternoon after market close... something to watch (didn't say buy or sell, just watch only)

The grocery stores are getting hammered with preppers. I'm seeing this first hand because I work for Kroger. In 17 years I've never seen anything like this outside of back to back inclimate weather scares. I was told to pad the order with extra stuff that are hot sellers so we don't run out to add to a truck that's already way too big for us to handle because of short staffing. I figure people will either get fully prepped eventually or run out of money.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

I've always wanted to stand at the podium at the NYSE and scream "The sky is falling!", just to see what it does to the market.

She's not taking into account that 80% of people that will get covid-19 will have mild symptons and just stay home for a few days like the common cold. 20% will be more severe (mostly elderly) and half of those will not require hospitalization
