The founders got it right. They knew we have a big country and this was the fairest way of doing it. Although I'm sure they never would have imagined a 79 yr old guy with dementia would ever be a parties nominee

Actually the electoral college was made for the future. They were thinking ahead. I assume you think adaptations should be made to the constitution also. Which is precisely why we can't allow it.
