    Jc would you mind doing that with my midbass driver? Interesting to see. Reason I ask is no one here has them yet. Only 8 sets were shipped here

    I'm still afraid to push the Scan too hard so...
    They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

    Sure, post up the thiele small parameters including xmax and Le with any other relevant information and I’ll model it up. I have no idea what you have right now.

    Hillbilly,

    Please see attached cone excursion chart showing that without any HP your driver runs out of excursion at 85.85 Hz on 60 watts. That is not bad considering that is 60 watts and normally you would be 6 db sown at 80 Hz with a 24 db LR4 crossover point. If you look at the graph, you can see where the line changes color at 86 Hz.

    I thought it did too. I can compare it to others next time if needed. Who makes that driver?
