The carpet arrived yesterday, but it's a very bad color match, I'm sending it back. I ordered from Crutchfield, which doesn't have a lot of options, where else can I source carpet?
I live in the Motor City. I have a local guy who runs a huge shitty old surplus warehouse full of every automotive carpet, vinyl, ABS plastic, OEM sound dampener, and seat belt strap material you would every want in any color you would ever want. I usually walk in his shop with a swatch of the material I am looking for and go hunting. I know this does not help you in Colorado. But, if you wanted to make the trip he could hook you up.

I finally got around to beautification of the subwoofer enclosure

My inspiration was the brake caliper:

Just in case you did not know by viewing my build thread. We have the same vehicle. Apparently Phroehips does a lot better job at vacuuming out the truck than me for glamor photos

    I've been pwnd...

Thanks everyone! Pro-tip to anyone wanting to paint anything red (applies to yellow too): Be absolutely sure to do a coat of primer first! I did do that, but had a section that I needed to sand down, to knock off some excess glue residue. That re-exposed the raw MDF, and I was too lazy to re-prime that section. It literally took another 5 coats to cover it up

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it. In case it's not clear from earlier posts, it's a single 10TW3 firing toward the rear. Same orientation as the OEM Bose subwoofer, mine is just, ahem, slightly larger.

The enclosure is oversized (around 0.6 cu ft vs the specified 0.5 cu ft), which allows for more low-end extension and grunt, which I like, and it gets loud enough for me. I typically have the sub volume turned down about 4dB from max available
