Bought a new car and I have been gathering gear for a 3 way front stage and single sealed 10 sub stage.
All drivers will be installed in their factory locations.
Tweeters in a sail panel behind factory grill.
4 midrange in the upper door. Max depth 2 preferably neo since the the mount is angled.
Mid bass is located in the REAR of the front lower door. Up to an 8 with a depth of 3.5 will fit.
I could just make it easy and order the Gladen ONE 200 GOLF 5 component. It has a 8, 4 and 1 drivers. Passive. It bolts right in. $560. Im trying to do better than that. I still need to source an amp.
I can get the CDT stuff for under $250 and the Dayton drivers will cost me $160. Either set is fine budget wise, Im just trying to stay away from $560 Gladen set. I will do the Gladen set if I have to though.
I have a 4 channel and a mono block. Also have a DSP. Either I find a 2 channel or go all out and find a 6 channel and shelve the 4 channel.
I also ordered the Pioneer DMH-2660NEX a few days ago.
