Anybody know about this sub or one of these companies?

I found this 12" d2 sub with a coated paper cone/generic looking stamped steel basket on a shelf and based on the Dec 07 2005 date on the ups label I'd say it's been there a good 14 years. Best I can remember is someone on that other forum was starting a new company and sent me this prototype to test/review but I have no idea who it was. I also recall they sent me some specs for an enclosure design but I never got around to trying it and the specs are MIA. Anybody know of this company or the one on the sub sticker? (I'm guessing that one may have been the build house)
If I can't find any info I think I'll build one of my convertible enclosures and try it out (some of you older dudes may remember the one I built in my El Camino way back when that allowed me to quickly/easily change the airspace as well as add/remove different size ports to switch to vented)

It looks like an old Orion SGX series from the front...minus the logo.

they list NCA Labs is their parent company.
Does that ring a bell?

I googled pics and there are a bunch of subs out there that look almost identical!

Nca labs makes oem speakers for cars and some home audio. That's all I know as some of my old HT stuff was marked nca labs

Thanks and I saw that site but it doesn't ring a bell (this sub does look very similar to the 8" subs they sell). The sub was sent from Speed and Sound Corp In Brooklyn and Google shows a Speed and Sound Electronics there at a different address but could very well be the same company. I just kinda remember the guy had an accent and posted on either the old ECA forum or diyma but I can't recall his name or screen name.

Who am I kidding, I'll never get around to doing anything with this sub so if any *established* member (meaning someone who has been around for a while and contributes to the forum) who will actually do something with this sub would like to have it just pay shipping and it's yours. I won't be around tomorrow so if more than one person asks for it I'll draw a name out of a hat or something random like that on Monday.
