I was pointed to Kyle Ragsdale's tuning videos and he really does a good job walking you through the process. Watch them in order. He uses a Helix but the general idea works for all processors with a parametric EQ (the 408 has peq). Let me put it this way...if I can hammer out a listenable tune (depending on who you ask, lol) ANYONE can do it. And where are you located? I've found having someone who already has a handle on things help out from time to time is better than all the reading you could ever do online. One thing about this hobby is there's always someone willing to help someone that truly wants to learn.
