    Hi Jimmy,
could you let us have your experience with sdmi25
is it worth the price for it?
i intend to use my factory head unit with helix p6 dsp mk2
sdmi25 seems the only solution that ensures it without loss on signal quality
Apart from the device, i just doubt the quality of signal output for most port of factory head unit (mini cooper 2017)

    cheers

Why doubt the quality out of the MOST port? Its sending out a perfectly clean digital signal

I just dont have any information about it
nor could i find content about it

i will be very glad if there is no loss

what would you say hec usb module (direct signal delivery to dsp via usb, bypassing the head unit) compared to usb>std hu>most>spdif>dsp
both sourced by iphone tidal lossless

The sound quality is fabulous. Pure flat clean digital signal... Not sure what you're doubting?

With that said; if your intent is to use your iPhone as the source, then just install a USB HEC module onto the DSP and run it direct in.
No sense in messing around by adding an extra piece in the chain...

id much rather have a topping d10 to extract digital with charging and the apple camera kit to go optical in to the processor... there’s no comparison vs a hec (plus the issues with charging with the genuine cck3)

Yep, using an SDMI25 here as well and it does exactly what one would expect it to do. Took about 5 minutes to install and configure the jumpers and took away all the headaches of trying to tap a signal from my stock amplifier.

    Thanks for the replies
I went for Audison APF 8.9 Bit
and ordered topping d10s (from iPhone to optical input of APF 8.9 Bit)
my dealer says my car has no most25 output (Mini Cooper D 2017 F56) but I think there is
we will find out when we take the head unit off and I prefer to have SDMI25 or Audison Bit DMI to use the stock head unit

General opinion is that iphone > topping D10 > DSP is the best pure signal (better than MOST25 bus), what do you guys think?

Look at my photo above. Find your factory amp. If it has a 2 pin connector with little green fiber optic cables plugged into it then you have a MOST connection. Then you need to determine if it is MOST25 or the more modern MOST150.

For what it is worth. Sure, the MOST interface was more expensive than I thought it should have been. But, like others said. It's pretty much just plug and play. Sound quality from it is fantastic.
