Alpine is introducing a staggered 6 channel amplifier. Credit goes to rton for posting this in another thread. https://www.alpine-usa.com/company/p...taggered-power

That looks great for a three way front end.

    For a grand:

Zapco Z150.6-LX (look around, you'll find one for a thousand bucks)
    https://www.woofersetc.com/z-150-6lx...amplifier.html

    MMATS HiFi-6150D
    https://www.mmatsproaudio.com/site/product/hifi-6150d/

I've owned both, and can vouch for both... they are incredible amplifiers!
    Zapco is Class A/B
    MMATS is Class D

In my opinion; they both sounded identical. Neither one was better (or worse) than the other.

That's a kick ass price. Grab it quick because it will be gone fast.

Dear Lord I'm gonna own that PG 6ch with power shift at some point. It would be perfect for my needs. Price seems reasonable as long as it will stand the test of time and be the last front stage amp I buy for a LONG time.
They might say "don't try this at home" but nothing about not trying it at your friend's house.

S/N on that PG is not very inspiring. Of course if higher noise floor doesn't bother you, then I guess it's not a big deal.
