    The floor support is just 2 layers of 1/2” stacked so I grabbed a scrap piece, dug out the 1-1/2” hole saw and whipped up a few “plugs” to stack & make into supports. The glue is drying as I type & I’ll remove the corner supports over the next few days and we’ll see how that works/looks. Thanks again for the tip... not sure why I didn’t think of something so simple from the get-go. I have a habit of overthinking things and sometimes overlook the easy way.

    i only mention it because i've seen others do it

    in this iteration of the trunk build, JT put a post on the false floor that sat on his logo. carpet on the bottom so it wouldn't mar the logo. front half of the false floor was supported by the amp beauty plate.
