I loved the SPXL1000 on my Frogs. I am currently moving over to Mosconi AS series amps, so we shall see...

Personally, I'd keep it in the family of the fullrange amps and do the Helix sub amp to keep it matchy matchy. Just the OCD side of me talking here, lol. And the SPXL1000 is a solid amp.

Min doing Mosconi for that reason; I have 3 of them. I was running an Arc XDi1200.6 on the front stage. System sounded great, but OCD was working on me, lol

I bet you like the Mosconi better than that Arc. Just a hunchI think the regular Helix G-series amps are brilliant too.
