Got my new toy to finish my install yesterday.

I picked up the Helix DSP Ultra yesterday and installed it. Mobile Solutions Canada just took delivery of the first units into North America and I was able to pick it up right away. Larry and Chris have been fantastic and I give MSC my highest recommendation.I am running two C-Fours and One C-One into a Brax front stage with JL subs for now. Below are PIc's of my first real install. Each C-Four is set up as a mono block pair with one running the right channels and one running the left channels. The Midbass channel is bridged to get the best dynamics. No rear fill at this point. Son far the system is working great and I am pretty happy!!

Thanks, I am pretty lucky for sure. It is the first production unit in North America and MSC was kind enough to let me be the first!! I saw the Fedex shipment and was able to see all of the Ultras in NA at this point in a box. I think they where putting together a US shipment to go out pretty quickly. I needed to update the software on everything to utilize the Ultra. For now, I ported over my previous Helix V8 DSP setup and it went off without any major issues just a few corrections needed. So far I am really liking the setup as a whole.

The rest of the system is comprised of a Brax 3 way active front GL1, GL3, and GL6 setup. A Pioneer AVH-4500hex headunit and a Director in front of the Helix.

I did the sail panels builds and the full install of the system.

OH the subs are 2 JL Audio 10w3v3 in a sealed enclosure in the hatch above the amps on the shelf. Works pretty good, however I think I may need to upgrade to something that can keep up with the Brax's up front a little better. The Helix C-One and C-Fours really are a awesome set of amps and I am supper pleased with them. The C-One woke up the JL Subs but we will see.

Ya perhaps, I want a set of subs that have really good transient response and definition to match the Brax front speakers.
